About

Scissor sisters from sea to shining sea

After meeting at a new employee orientation over a decade ago, Jesi and Kelli became fast friends. Too big for their California small town, aka “The County” Jesi and Kelli have since moved across the world from each other, Jesi settling in NorCal and Kelli is on a Caribbean island, searching for good wifi.

What started as a joke about “Jelli” needing their own sitcom has sprouted (after several years and many bottles of Champagne) into this podcast. Their mutual love of bullshitting, food, fashion, and conspiracy theories makes for an interesting listening experience and you never know what they’ll talk about next.

After navigating their 20’s in (sometimes matching) stilettos, these two have each become barefoot warriors in their own right – Jesi as a yoga studio owner and teacher, and Kelli as a barefoot hippie beach mama. They share a mutual passion for natural and authentic living, always trying to make good choices about what to put in and on their bodies.

The Jesi and Kelli show is their newest adventure, and they are so overjoyed to share it with you.

About Us

Kelli Ann

Somewhere in the Caribbean

From 50 hour work weeks to flexible “work” hours, a lot has changed for Kelli in the last 5 years. After living in California her whole life she threw caution to the wind in 2012 and moved to a tiny Caribbean island with her husband and three suitcases, because…why not? Trading in her high heels for flip flops hasn’t always been easy, but the island life really does agree with this former glam girl. Free spirited, foul mouthed and politically boisterous, Kelli keeps things interesting with her always unexpected views. Becoming a mother did little to tame her fire, in fact it made her even more passionate about clean living, natural products, nutrition and mindful parenting.  When she’s not busy washing cloth diapers or making baby food, you can find her on the beach or at home with a book and a glass (or bottle) of wine.

Jesi Lee

Holding down the West Coast

Jesi Lee is a reformed ENTJ (Myer-Briggs Personality) with a little OCD – you can always tell by her perfectly lined up yoga mat. She spent her youth in a country town as a skater chick only to move to LA and find a love for high heels; heels she would later leave behind in a yoga studio. She believes a burrito-a-day is the best diet, and spends most of her savasanas thinking about food. Her love for where yoga leads her is only outshone by her continued studies in the field as an Embodyoga® 500 hour certified teacher. She has taken three oaths in life, one to her college business Fraternity (world is better because [s]he dwelt upon it), one to her husband (her favorite part of life), and one to uphold the yamas and niyamas as a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher. She learned the Code of Journalism while writing, editing, and designing her town’s local paper and somehow she is still amazed by what passes as “the news” in modern media. With bylines by the age of 17, she fancies herself an author with only 5 chapters in her novel, and several “pieces” in the works. A serial entrepreneur, she has launched as many ventures as she has hobbies. She continues to find solace in punk rock, Snoop Dogg, and Hindu mantra. A gal who speaks her truth without apology, she has no problem apologizing when she is wrong. She find puns, dry wit and worldly mishaps are her preferred humor, and considers herself a deep thinker and an impromptu philosopher — all with a big heart and no time for bull sh*t.
